'Romantics' was recorded over one weekend in September 2012 at North Road Studios.
All songs were written and performed by Queen Jane.
The EP was recorded and produced by Paul Winton.
Following on from the band's first studio release, 'Denver' in February 2012, 'Romantics' sees the band develop a more defined sound.
'Denver' was a collection of the bands best songs at that time, but with 'Romantics' they tried to work on a record that had a more central feeling and flowed from track to track. A start, a middle and an end.
The band would like to thank all of their friends and family, Paul Winton, Paul Devlin, Lubo, Pebbles, Dean Habbick and all of the Q TANG CLAN.
"The EP as a whole is a complete package of summery up-beat pop music, featuring chiming guitars, angular beats and jaunty melodies. It further cements Queen Jane's status as heading for bigger and better things, and confirms that with each release they have honed and developed their sound", Scottish Fiction
"Who would have thought such unashamedly brimming sunny pop music could have been served up from the heart of Cumbernauld?", Rave Child
" Romantics is a massively-impressive release from a young band who are sure to go places if they are heard by the right people, and I'm already excited to hear what comes next. Long live the Queen.", CapreMusica
